To get a unit rate, simply divide the total done by the total time taken

If the issue is not so much how to set up the problem, but rather how to do the fraction division, just give the word and I'll talk you through that.

Well, it's gonna be 2/7 miles in 2/5 of an hour. What is 2/5 of an hour? multiply 2/5 by 60 (60 minutes in an hour) to get how many minutes. Once you multiply it out, it's 24 minutes. She walked 2/7 in 24 minutes. Well, to get in miles per hour, you have to multiply both sides so that the minutes=60. Since we know that 24 is 2/5 of an hour, we multiply by the reciprocal, 5/2 to get 60. To keep things equal, you also multiply 2/7 by 5/2, which equals 10/14, or 5/7. That's your answer! 5/7 miles per hour. C. The answer is C. If you don't know how I did it, you can go to a calculator and divide 2/7 by 2/5, and you'll get .7142857143, which is the decimal form of 5.7. I know that's a big long and complicated, but it's really a bit simple! Hope that helped.

also, when you say miles per hour, that's sometimes written as Miles/hour (spoken as: miles over hour). The miles it gave you was 2/7, and the hours it gave you was 2/5, that's how you know it was C instead of D
