When Mendeleev first created his periodic table he left gaps or empty spaces in many places within his table. Why was this so?
maddie82502
  • maddie82502
he left gaps bc there were much elements back then so he left gaps for the element that weren't discovered quite yet he predicted that scientist in the future would find more elements to put on the periodic table and his prediction were correct
