8. Fill in the blank with the right form of aller:
Elle____ au cafe.
9. Fill in the blank with the right form of aller:
Ils____ aux magasins.
10. Fill in the blank with the right form of aller:
Ton ami et toi____ jouer au tennis.
i would like to know which forms of "aller" there are and where/when to use it

1.) Nous ALLONS > because the nous form of aller is allons.
2.) "Anne et sa soeur" can also be said as "elles", therefore it's "Anne et sa soeur VONT", since the ils elles form of aller is vont.
3.) "VAS manger ta glace" since the word "ta" refers to you talking directly to a person (therefore you're using tu, however this is a command so instead of saying tu vas manger ta glace, you can simply say vas manger ta glace).
4.) "Je VAIS..." > because the je form of aller is vais
5.) "Vous ALLEZ..." > because the vous form of aller is allez
6.) "Ma mere et moi" can be said as "Nous" since you are talking about you and your mother both. Therefore you use ALLONS.
7.) "Tu VAS..." since the tu form of aller is vas.
Can you figure out 8-10 by using the conjugations I gave you as a guide?
thank you for your help, i am trying right now
Write your answers here as well so I can check. But you're welcome. :)
8. Elle vont au cafe.
9. Ils vont aux magasins.
and i cant figure out 10
Actually 8 is Elle on va au cafe and 9 is Ils vont aux magasins.
Would 10 be Ton ami et toi vas jouer au tennis, or Ton ami et toi allons jouer au tennis?
8 should only be elle "va" since elle is singular not plural. When you will use "vont" is when you have plural ilS/elleS.
9 is correct
10 is "ton ami et toi" which, if translated to english means "your friend and you" meaning you are talking to both of them, therefore it can be written as "vous ____ jouer au tennis." So you will have to you vous ALLEZ.
Ok.. i think i get it now (: Thank you for the help
You're welcome :) If you have questions about conjugations just leave me a message!
@vheah could you possibly help me with a question about this??
"change the underlined part of the sentence into plural form. make sure you change the subject and the verb aller:
1. _tu vas_ a la plage.
2. _je vais_ au parc.
Sorry for responding so late I haven't been on here in a while.
I apologize. But i hope this answer at least helps.
Basically you just have to change these in plural form.
The plural for tu (which is singular for "you", you are talking to only one person) is vous (which you can translate to "you all", meaning you are talking to more than one person).
So when you use vous, you also have to conjugate the verb "vas" to "allez", so your answer for number one is "vous allez a la plage."
Now for JE, you are only talking about yourself ("I") but if you want to talk about more than one person that is still referring to "us", you say "nous" meaning "we". Since you are going to use "nous" that means that you are conjugating "vais" to "allons".
So your answer for number 2 is "nous allons au parc".
